to: http://dayofgrace.me
Will those who follow still get notification of new posts? Will they have to re-subscribe to the new URL? Maybe this is taken care of by the domain mapping, just need clarification.

Nobody needs to change a thing. If you want to get fancy, you could ask people who've linked to you to change their links to the new structure, but they generally won't.
