Wish to delete my blogs that are mostly inactive

Hi! I have just one blog, which has about 40 posts to it, and I wish to let this particular blog remain active. While looking for other options, I had created 2 other blog names, which I would like to delete now because everytime I create a post and wish for the post to appear in my blog ahich is the most active (that is containing 40 posts), the post I create gets automatically transferred to the new blog that I created, and I find this quite distressing. I looked for options of deleting the other blogs, but the information provided isn't very easy to understand, and I am deeply afraid I am wipe out all of the blogs, including my precious 40 post blog. Can you please please help me get rid of the other 2 blogs???

The blog I need help with is snowflakegurl.wordpress.com.

  2. What are the URLs of these blogs?

if they are free hosted WordPress.com blogs then know that each blog is independent a deleting one has no effect on any other blog registered under the same username.

Provided you are logged in under the Admin username account that registered the blog in question you can delete any blog registered under that username by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

After you do that if you cannot locate a verification email, look in your email client spam/junk mail filter for the email with the blog deletion verification link in it and click that link. If clicking it does not work then copy and paste the link into your upper browser bar and click.

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/ You may want to make the blog private instead. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

Thank you so much for your helpful suggestion, timethief!! Thank you for confirming that I can go ahead and delete the blog, knowing it's independant from the other blog, where both belong to the same username! I think I can safely go ahead and just delete now! :)

  4. You're welcome. Yes you can go ahead with deletion, though I recommend making the blog private and using it as a testing and back-up blog instead. Best wishes.
