   I need help with putting a word directly onto my blog. I can only get it to show up as a link!!!

   Also please go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”

   You can upload documents to your WordPress.com blog using the Add Media icon.
   http://en.support.wordpress.com/uploading-documents/ This will provide a working download link to the file in your new post or page. However, if you would like to embed an actual document into a post or page, you can use Scribd. http://en.support.wordpress.com/scribd/
