Wordpress Blogging on a webiste that's not created on WordPress.

  1. The information on your website is very overwhelming since I know close to zilch of most of what I'm reading. I have a website (not on WordPress) and I need to know what I need to do in order to use wordpress blogging services.

The blog I need help with is cclbld.wordpress.com.

  2. The information on your website is very overwhelming since I know close to zilch of most of what I'm reading. I have a website (not on WordPress) and I need to know what I need to do to use wordpress for their blogging services.

My email address is [email redacted]

  3. Are you asking how do I register a wordpress.com blog
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
and move my content from my website into it

It's difficult to answer you because we don't know where your website is, and what software it runs on, and whether or not your are asking how to move your content or not.

  4. (Please allow me to begin with how frustrating this is not to be able to speak with someone directly. The information on your website is very overwhelming as I know close to zilch what the terminology means. But I do appreciate your quick reply. I'm on a time schedule and really don't want to waste a lot of time. So I will try my best to be very detailed.)
I believe I was able to register a wordpress.com blog. I'm not looking to move my content from my website into my website blog???? (not sure what this means) My website is with Homestead.

I need to know exactly what I need to do to use wordpress blogging services on my Homestead website since Homestead doesn't support the type of blogging services that I need. When you say "what software it runs on" exactly what do you mean.

I'm praying that we don't have numerous emails going back and forth. As I said this is extremely frustrating. Even if I were to go to the forums, I'm not comprehending what's being said because again not familiar with the terminology that's being used.

  5. WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org are separate and different
    http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

WordPress.org has free software here http://wordpress.org/
Whether or not it can be used on your website I do not know.
To get an answer to that question if you don't have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
