wordpress doesn't recognize my account or email address anymore

    Hi all,
    Wordpress doesn't recognize my account or my email address anymore. My account is paid up, so that isn't a problem. The problem is that I went into the administration part of the site and monkeyed around with something. Now I can't log in and can't get a new password to log in. I'm not even sure I remember my username correctly. I tried contacting wd and sent in the form for the user name and password clarification, I even sent in my API Key #, but wd doesn't recognize my account. Does anyone know what I should do?

    Support for your website is provided on the WordPress.ORG support forums and they are here http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don't have a username account at WordPress.org, click that link and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the correct support forums for your software.

    I think I disconnected it somehow. I have no idea what happened. My site is hosted by Dreamhost and http://www.glennamjenkins.com is definitely a wordPress site.

    If my URL is http://www.glennamjenkins.com, then I should have a wordpress.com account.

    Your site IS a WordPress site, but it is a WordPress.ORG site, so we cannot help you here. As TT said, you need to be at http://wordpress.org/support/

    OK, so I went to the wordpress.org site and no dice. My site is hosted by Dreamhost, but the powers that be at the .org site tell me I must be self-hosted because they don't recognize me. This is what I see when I try to login: http://www.glennamjenkins.com/wordpress/wp-login. WordPress doesn't recognize my emial address for some reason. Can someone please tell me what to do.
