   Is it possible to add an image to an excerpt in WordPress?

   The blog I need help with is laptopmemo.wordpress.com.

   Blix is one of the themes that will display excerpts in "Main posts page and Category/Archive pages"

   In order for you to display images in excerpts, you must switch to the HTML editor (assuming you use the Visual post editor most of the time), copy the code you want for the excerpt, including the code for images, then paste it into the excerpt module, all while you are in the HTML mode.

   If you paste things into the excerpt module while in the visual mode, the images won't appear.
