   Hi. I have finally got WordPress up and running here: http://www.scotrick.com/wordpress
   And it's working well. I have a few little problems with the theme I'm using, but I assume, perhaps incorrectly, that the theme isn't the reason I can't the Stats widget working.

   Simply put, I know people have looked at my blog. Not many, maybe only one or two, but I know they've looked at it because I asked them too. :) And I think I have the Stats widget installed properly, but it doesn't register any views. What am I doing wrong?

   Is it because I have the blog set-up on my own domain name?
   Is it because I have some permissions set wrong somewhere?

   Keep in mind that I have only a vague knowledge of PHP and permissions, but have been stumbling along as best I can. I tried searching through the responses here using the term 'stats' and got some good information, but none of it seemed to apply directly to my situation. Any help anyone could give me I would greatly appreciate.

   If you have downloaded the stats widget and are having issues with it then please let staff know what your problems are http://wordpress.com/contact-support/

   The volunteers on this forum are only able to provide answers to questions regarding wordpress.com software and your software is from wordpress.org.    As TT mentioned, this is a question to staff directly. I can tell you this much, if the plugin installed and is collecting any stats whatsoever, it will not be a permission problem. The only answer will only be from staff though (authors of plugin)
