   Hi

   I have downloaded a free portfolio theme and installed it here at http://navkaar.x50x.net/test/, but, I have encountered with the following error, however header.php is still exist and upload with other files at FTP.

   Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/u772590232/public_html
   /test/index.php on line 1

   So, can you please suggest how it runs smoothly?

   You need to know that there are various types of WordPress. Your site http://navkaar.x50x.net/test/ is not hosted here on wp.COM.

   This forum is exclusively for help with technical support for the wp.COM platform.

   Your site seems to be self hosted and using wp.ORG software.

   Our answers here won't apply to your platform.
