Hope above mentioned news alert in Dashboard from WordPress.com will disappear soon for those who may not wish to purchase the credit? Usually the messages disappear if you click on them once, but this one seems to be persistent, and that would be annoying.

i've seen offers to buy 4 or 5 different variations on my blog name.. all very useless ones.
agreed! if i want my own domain i'll get one. the ones that are continually showing up on my dashboard are truly annoying and i would never link my blog to. bad feature - shut it down please.
