WordPress URL change

I need to change a URL address from a wordpress blog to a different wordpress blog. Right now, http://www.pearleandpiercehome.com is a wordpress blog I no longer want to work with, moving forward I would like that URL to reflect http://pearleandpiercehome.wordpress.com/ How can I do this?
    Thanks so much,
    Mary
    Blog url: http://pearleandpiercehome.wordpress.com/

  2. The domain http://www.pearleandpiercehome.com/ is not registered or mapped at WordPress.com. The two addresses are already separate.

I have made the URL change, but in the process of moving content from one wordpress blog to a different one, I lost all of my photos from previous posts. Is there any way to recoup these or figure out how to get them back?

    Thanks,
    Mary

  4. Just so we're on the same page here, which blogs did you move from and to?

Previously, my client had created a blog here
    http://www.pearleandpiercehome.com/site/wp-login.php

I changed it to a WordPress SITE (which used to be http://www.pearleandpiercehome.com/wordpress) and did the re-direct of the URL so now the site is
    http://www.pearleandpiercehome.com

But the photos are not coming up from the old site to the new site.
    Any chance you can help?
    Thanks,
    Mary

  6. http://pearleandpiercehome.com/ seems to be working properly.

Can you give us a link to any posts or pages where the images should be appearing?

    Hi Max,
No images are coming up for any posts... for example,
    http://pearleandpiercehome.com/2012/04/25/boxwood-bonaza/
has alot of boxwood images and there are just boxes with question marks where the photos should be...

Is there something I'm not doing correctly?

    Thanks so much,
    Mary

  8. These images are referring to your old self-hosted blog.

As the domain is now directed to your WordPress.com blog, the image links no longer exist.

When you imported your blog, there was an option to import attached media. If this option was not checked, or the media files were just uploaded and inserted and never attached to the post, then they wouldn't have been brought over.

At this point, I recommend re-uploading the images.

When I transferred the blog, I am not sure where I can find the previous email subscribers my client had. Can you tell me where I will find these email addresses?
    Thanks so much,
    Mary
