   (I know this is kinda a wordpress.org question more than an wordpress.com question but I can't register for the wordpress.org forums! It won't send me the email with the password......)

   Anyway, I recently moved to wordpress.org and everything is going smoothly except is there a way to import wordpress.com widgets into wordpress.org? I used the blog stats and email subscriptions widgets, but I cannot figure out a way to enable them in wordpress.org.

   If it matters, I used the Blix theme in wordpress.com and now I am using Fixed-Blix.

   Search for the "wordpress stats plugin" over at http://wordpress.ORG/extend/plugins/ and you can install it. You can use the API key from your account here. The stats will start from zero on the new blog, so make sure and record whatever stats you want off the old blog's stats pages.

   The email subscriptions here cannot be transferred or used on a self-hoste blog. They are .COM only, so anyone that signed up here will have to sign up again at the new blog.

   I use the feedburner email service myself and have been quite happy with it.
