Is there a way to work on a wordpress blog on your server without letting your clients see? Can you work on it in a certain file and then transfer it to where I wish for my blog to be. What I'm trying to accomplish to take my website fully down and have my blog as my website. Right now I have a re designing page up for clients to see...but I wish for them to still see what while working on my blog.

You can change the blog visibilty to "private". Please see here. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
If you are talking about http://www.bethanymacisaacphotography.com/ - you could map the domain to the site linked to your name that is hosted here on WordPress.COM.
The other option is to map to a temporary site here while you finish the design on your "real" site then change the domain mapping to the "real" site.
Several options.
