   Wordpress.org is down.
   The guys are aware and working on it.
   Normal service soon :)

   I don't think regular wordpress supports RFC 1149. Best bet would be to open a ticket on trac as an enhancement.

   I know though that the US National Security Agency supports the use of duct tape in that RFC. Maybe it's something that needs to be looked into.

   Shouldn't have affected other sites. Please remember that wp.org doesn't do any actual hosting of blogs except for the wordpress development blogs.

    And to help others "know", the outage seems to be impacting only:

    WordPress Support Forums
    WordPressMU and Support Forums

    It is not impacting WordPress.com or support forums, the WordPress Codex, nor the Automattic home page, which will hopefully have some announcement on this soon.

    Hmm, the WPMu site was up earlier today. The forum never was.

    Ditto for the bbPress site. The forum has been down all day, the site was fine but it's now down.

    The WPMu site is back up and WPMu trac is up. (Discovered a bug and went to report it.)
