I see the well-known spam "Your browser out of date" on my WordPress.com dashboard. I will not click "dismiss" because it looks like a virus and I don't want to see it. Please remove the spam from my dashboard and never place it again.
The blog I need help with is sergworks.wordpress.com.
That's not spam, just a new feature. It's fine to click it, it actually goes to one of our sites that suggests an alternative.
Which browser are you using?
I am using FireFox 3.6.17 and currently I have no intention to use FF 4.x. I don't like the new feature. If possible count my blog out of such spam-looking features.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to disable it at this time.
Are you sure that you don't want to upgrade to Firefox 4? It's really a significantly improve browser over the 3.6.x series, and it includes plenty of important security fixes.
I am sure that I will never change my browser because of spam received. The whole idea of browser upgrade spam is nonsense IMO. Please stop it.
FWIW I don't like it either and I'm Firefox user, however, I will just suck it up and blog on.
