Hey everyone,
I tried adding a Youtube video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_pThVepJ8o) to one of my recent blog posts (http://austocks.wordpress.com/2011/07/05/a-tale-of-two-countries/). For some reason, it isn't working. Any help would be much appreciated.
The blog I need help with is austocks.wordpress.com.

What's the exact code you are copying-pasting on your blog?
Go to your blog edit the post and switch to the HTML editor. Then enter this shortcode and then save.
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_pThVepJ8o]
The method suggested by timethief works perfectly and is the one I use to avoid any errors.
If you were trying to just copy and paste the URL into the visual editor, make sure it does not become an actual live link (in other words, it should not become underlined or change color automatically).
