A contents page?

I have a contents page ( http://broadsidesdotme.wordpress.com/ ) which I rather like. so whenever I write a new post I add it to the contents page so visitors can browse and link to the post, if they want. BUT, whenever I add a content item the whole format of the page collapses and I have to reset each picture and text on the collapsed format to re-set it as a contents page. That was OK when I only had ten or so posts. It took only ten minutes to do. But with 60 plus posts, it just gets tedious and is a real incentive not to add anything. I still do, but the thought of having to re-set the whole contents page induces despair. Can I fix it.

The blog I need help with is broadsidesdotme.wordpress.com.

You don’t say how you are setting up the formatting – but this is what I use on my how to do things Posts – put after the Text that goes with an image – see the how do do Posts on my site for any example (note the line is not part of this code)

<div style="clear:both;"></div> - clear and start over after an image - survives Visual Edit Mode

PS – I don’t like a static front page – search engines also like new content on the front page as do most visitors –
