A multiple author question

  • I have seen blog pages where you can post one time, become pending, and then you are open without going through the e-mail process….what I am wondering is how do you set this? Can’t find any info on this.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • We can’t help without a link to your blog, starting with http.

  • Wait,you can’t answer a question without a link???????

  • No. We always need a link to the blog, because
    a) we get a lot of wrong visits, so we have to make sure we’re talking about a wp.COM blog,
    b) often we have to check things in the blog itself in order to give an answer that applies,
    c) although sometimes the nick is also the blog name, this isn’t always the case, we are not oblidged to try it, this way you don’t help us help you, and it’s not safe anyway (sometimes a volunteer gives a reply only to be greeted with “oh not that blog, the other one!).
So please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions – or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know.

  • Nope, because we cannot be certain you are indeed blogging here at wordpress.com as the selfhosted software is also called WordPress and we have at least five to ten people a day confusing it.

    :)

  • Well,I haven’t actually set a page yet,but it is going to be a .com and I just needed to know the “how to” before I even started it so I don’t waste my time.

I’m not sure what exactly you are asking:
Are you asking about readers leaving comments on your posts?
    http://support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/
Or are you talking about having multiple authors on your blog?

    Adding Users

  • No,I have seen site that you can post without permission, but it is pending and must be approved 1st,then you become an author on it.I am wondering how to set that in options because I can’t find any info on it.
