a query about 'resolved'

  1. Twice now, I've clicked into someone's topic (not the same person) from a profile rather than the forum's home page, so hadn't seen til afterwards that it was a resolved topic. I thought that once a topic has been marked 'resolved' by the OP that one couldn't add any more comments to it? And if not, what the heck is the point of the 'resolved' tag?

The blog I need help with is

  2. Resolved is just to let folks know that the OP is satisfied with the resolution. It does not close the topic.

  3. It saves time as we Volunteers then know which threads not to bother with and we can move onto to other threads more quickly.

  4. P.S. I hate this keypad -- she throws herself on the floor and hammers her fists.

  5. @macmanx and timethief - okay, many thanks. :)

  6. Oh my! Thank you so much for the fixing.

  7. You're both welcome!

  8. But people post to Resolved threads with new problems all the time - so Resolved is only sort of half accurate.

  9. Maybe there should be a 'half-resolved' tag, then! ;)
