a question about pages

    Hi,

I want to make some pages that aren’t visible to visitors in the menu. What I want to do with these pages is link to them from items in a list on a page that is visible. More specifically, we will be listing the films in our film festival. I want each film to hyperlink to a separate page that has information about that film. We’d add a ‘go back’ button.

We want to do this so that they get the info without leaving our blog.

We are using the Freshly theme. Can we do what we are looking to do? Is there a different way to do it?

    Thank you.

The blog I need help with is efilmnetwork.wordpress.com.

I like the signature block but actually it’s the other one that we want to do this with: http://tbefilmf.wordpress.com/

I’m not exactly sure what you are asking: you are showing 2 different blogs where you want this to happen? Right.

Whichever one, the answer would be the same:
If you want a page that does not appear to visitors, then you will need to make a custom menu to show what ever pages in your top navigation, then you can link to the other pages in posts or pages:

    and additional info:

It is the one for the festival site. Thank you for your response. I did some more searching around and discovered parent and child pages. I hadn’t thought about doing a custom menu. I’ll check out the other links.
    Thanks!
