A sister-theme to Pretty Young Things?

I am a new blogger and was recently searching for that one theme that will draw attention to my blog and be suitable for the blogs content. I came upon Pretty Young Things and was immediately in love with it (but not with the price at this time). Is there any future developments for this theme into a free-user friendly version? I am just in love with it.

The answer to your question is: “not that we are aware of”. I cannot envision the theme designer of a paid theme, who provides support for the paid theme in the Premium Support Forum offering the theme as free to some and paid to others. To me that’s not logical nor is a it a reflection of how the business world works.

I understand that. Thanks for the clarification, it didn’t hurt to ask.

Well, since all wordpress.com themes are open-source, there’s nothing to stop you using the same colours, fonts and even images in custom CSS for another theme. It’s unlikely you would be able to replicate the original theme exactly, but you could obtain a similar look.

However, you would need a decent amount of CSS knowledge to accomplish it and they just doubled the price of that upgrade too.
