Are post up-dates posted to followers e-mails – or not? I asked my hubby if he was getting “Post Changed” e-mails and he said – No. But then I got an e-mail from my sister saying she was getting all the Post-Changed e-mail notices (?)

Changes to a Post or Page should not generate a new email – does not on my site.
I do get edit changes on a site that I am Admin on for some friends – that is a choice only for Admin’s – I do that so if my friends mess up a Post I get a notification of their work so I can double check what they did.
I also subscribe to my own site so I can see what my subscribers see – and I have always gotten only one email per Post –
I think there’s got to be an ON/OFF switch for this.
Do you think so?
Have you encountered anything like this in your blogging journey?I’ve been making ALOT of changes to my posts after I publish them. Do you do this too? And, if you do, do you not get notices of the changes you made?
I make a lot of changes to Posts after I publish them – even after I let the Post sit overnight – and I only get the first email when I publish the Post / Page. I have not seen any on / off switch.
I do get edit notifications for s/v Code Blue that I set up and Admin for some friends – those notification only go to me (Admin) – I did this just in case they have problems with any Posts –
PS: subscribe to your own blog – then you will see exactly what your subscribers see and if there is ever a security problem where someone gets your password and publishes something you are notified
