I need a template that will allow 2 content columns so two bloggers can get blog every day and not have one on top of the other…their posts would be basically side by side.

I’m looking at Under the Influence. How does the theme determine what goes into which content column? Or does it load new posts one on top of the other until they flow into the second content column?

I need a column for author bloggers and a column for book reviewers.

The blog I need help with is cynthiadalba.wordpress.com.

All wp.com blogs/themes display posts in reverse chronological order. If a theme has two or three main columns, those columns will display the latest two or three posts, no matter who’s written which.

The only thing you can do is file all review posts under a “Reviews” category and all other posts under a different category, and add links to those two categories in your sidebar, so that visitors can isolate the one or the other.

If you don’t want a mixed display of posts on your blog front, you can set it to display only the latest post, or a static intro page instead of posts (both in Settings > Reading).
