Accepting invitation button and custom invite message not working
I sent an invitation to someone to become a follower of my blog. I sent it with a customised message. The customised message did not appear, just the standard WordPress invite, and nothing happened when they clicked on the accept invitation button. Is there a simple way to fix this?

What is the username of the person you sent the invitation to? If they do not have a username account then what is their email address please? Note that when you post the email address here the software will redact (hide) it and only Staff can see it. I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.
I checked out your current invited users under Users -> Invite New:
One of the three has not accepted the invitation yet. Can you try resending the invitation again and see if it works that time? Let me know if you still have trouble and I’ll be happy to look into this further.
Ok…I am having the same problem with invitations. But if you will read the original concern she ALSO said: “and nothing happened when they clicked on the accept invitation button. Is there a simple way to fix this?”
So..if they can’t click on ACCEPT INVITATION…they can’t accept the invitation, right? That is what one of MY friends told me also. She has tried opening email in 2 different browsers. Nothing is happening. She is not a user or a follower because she can’t get to the website to sign up to begin with.

@tempkimway – I read and understood the original concern, which is why I asked them to send the invitation again to see if the problem happens again or if it was an isolated incident. If we can’t accurately reproduce the problem, we’re not able to find and fix what might be causing the problem. Since two of the three invitees were able to click the “accept invitation” successfully, it might mean there’s something specific on that user’s computer that could be causing the issue.
Can you have your friend take a screenshot of the invitation on their computer so I can see what they’re seeing? You can upload the image to a image sharing site like https://droplr.com/ or http://getcloudapp.com/, or you can upload the image to your site’s media gallery and I can take a look. Thanks @csonnek. I have sent her a brand new invite after I deleted the old one and asked her to try opening it in another browser. It very well could be HER settings. Have no clue which browser she was using to begin with. If THAT doesn’t work, I included your instructions for the screen shot to see if we can figure out what the issue is. I appreciate you getting back to me. Hopefully we can solve the issue! :-)
It does sound like she might need to adjust her settings to see the invitation properly.
