Accidentally deleted Domain

    I have accidentally deleted my domain while trying to transfer from to .org. Can someone please help me? I need it restored. I’m new to this, and definitely concerned. I know it can be restored, but I’ve tried to contact WordPress Support several times and have received no help yet, and I’m trying to get work done on this blog.

    The blog I need help with is



    repeatedly contacting Staff means that every time you do that the datestamps and timestamps move forward in time. Well, Staff answer support ticket and support threads in chronological order so those with the earliest datestamps and timestamps get help first, as would be expected. As you have already contacted Staff it’s in your best interest to wait until they reply to you.

    Although has been registered, it is not using nameservers. See here

    Yeah, I understand what you’re saying. Unfortunately this is the longest I’ve had to wait for support on something like this (and I’m paying for the service), so I was starting to wonder what was up. I contacted WordPress Support last night, and your response is the first I’ve received.

    I tried to point the servers to BlueHost, as I was supposed to, and it didn’t seem to want to register that it was being pointed there. I thought I had to delete the domain in after pointing the servers to BlueHost, but now redirecting is not working. I had contacted BlueHost, and they told me that the servers hadn’t been pointed to them yet. So this is a little confusing to me now, as you can imagine. Is someone supposed to delete the domain in after appointing the new nameserver?

    They told me that people have accidentally deleted their domains before, and that was able to restore it.

    Are you saying that cannot be done because the domain belongs to BlueHost now, and it’s on them to help me further?

    When you get a different blog and want to use a domain on it, you don’t delete anything. You change where the nameservers point. You keep the domain, change where it goes.

    Hang tight and wait for staff to sort this out. This is a weekend, so naturally support is slower.



    K yeah, I accidentally deleted my domain on after pointing the servers the BlueHost. BlueHost has it, it seems. Not sure why redirecting is all messed up. I’ve read too many forums so I’m pretty lost at this point.



    Well, there is zero you can do until staff reply to you in the other thread which is tagged for their attention, so don’t sweat it.



    Thanks for your reply. I don’t mean to be super anxious, I’m just nervous. New to domain transferring (obviously), and I’ve put so much work into my blog/getting the traffic and stats I that I have.
