I need help. I created a wordpress.com site for a client. They already had a domain name they were using for their old site. I mapped the domain name to the new wordpress.com site I created. Since I mapped the domain name, they stopped receiving email. I found this article (http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-dns/) on how to add DNS records. I added MX records and the email still does not work. This is what I added:

    MX 20 MAIL1.EXMPLE.com
    MX 20 MAIL6.EXAMPL.com

Do I need to add more info than that?

    Any help would be appreciated.

The blog I need help with is addisonteens.com.

You can also set up your custom email address using Google Apps > Setting Up Email with Google Apps page.

Note that it does take a little time for DNS changes to propagate and so they don’t start working immediately after you add records. I bet your updates were fine but that you just didn’t wait long enough for the settings to propagate after adding them.
