    I want to add a footer the Bouquet theme in WordPress. I have the Custom Design upgrade, so I just need to customize the CSS. I just want our Company name (ALTS Investment Group) and our phone number 617-247-1932 in the footer. What is the code I would enter into the custom CSS?

    The blog I need help with is mereblogblog.wordpress.com.

    I don’t think you can add information to the footer with the Bouquet theme. CSS isn’t for adding content to your site but styling the way it looks.

    Here is the support document on custom design. http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/ If you scroll 2/3 of the way down the page you can see the limits of custom editing.

    I would suggest that you create a text widget in the sidebar with your contact information. You can edit html and add the content you want inside that widget.

    You can add text to an existing element using the :before or :after selector. The following code should work:

    #copyright p.attrib:before {
        content: 'ALTS Investment Group. Phone: 617-247-1932';
    }

    If you’d rather your text appear after the existing “Powered by WordPress. The Paperpunch Theme”, simply change :before to :after in the code above.
