Adding a link to my business to the bottom of a blog
-
Hi there
I customize WordPress themes and would like to add a link to my business to the bottom of the sites I customise. Is there a way of doing this?
Thanks for your help
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can create a custom menu and include a custom link to your site in it. See:

thanks timethief but I’d like to add it to the footer if possible. I think clients might be more likely to agree to it if it’s reasonably subtle.

I’m sure it can be done and not to worry as thos who help with CSS editing will tell you how to accomplish this.
I posted only because I never look at or click footer links, except when I’m checking out a site that has stolen my content, or I’m answering support questions here and want to know where the blog is being hosted.

To help the CSS folks – where do you want your link? – Above, Below, Before or After the WordPress.com & Theme credits?

Staff will probably respond, but I, as a volunteer, help fellow bloggers only: I don’t help people who want to earn money “customizing blogs” but expect us to be the suckers who will actually do the customizing.
Unaware that I wasn’t speaking to the real user, I have already helped with two of the three blogs that the OP displays on her “Gallery” page (all three of them pretty basic Twenty Twelve, by the way). I won’t repeat the mistake. -
The old yet another “consultant” that does not know what they are doing – trick – I wonder if they charge for the time they spend posting here?
Nice gig if you can get it – guess I missed my calling

Hi @hepsibar, I would suggest creating a second menu that you can then assign to the “secondary” menu location, which is in the footer area on the right (see the demo site for Eventbrite Multi). You can include just the one menu item linking to the business.
You cannot add HTML links in CSS. CSS is a styling document used by the browser to render and place elements on the web page.

Desite that, what hepsibar asked for is perfectly possible, but obviously in this case I won’t say how.
