how do i add a picture of my self as the aurther of the post on my page?

You could use a Gravatar Widget, would that solve the problem?

Now if i do that does it show on all pages? i have somebody that wrote a cool post fro my blog and i wanted to upload their picture in the corner is this do able for this one page only?

If you theme shows your sidebar on all pages, then the widget will display with it on all pages.
