Adding AdSense in my blog posts

    I have my own domain now and moved my wordpress blog over, but I can't figure out how to add Google adsense. When I paste the code into the text widget, it rejects it.
    Do I have to get a site to support ads and affiliates?

    The fact that you have a domain is irrelevant if it's being free hosted by wordpress.COM you cannot have blogger initiated advertising on it. It you wish to have Google Adsense advertising then you will have to hire a web host, set up w wordpress.ORG install move your blog content into it. See here please >

    The only bloggers who can have advertising on blogs being hosted by wordpress.COM are (1) those very high traffic blogs that have been accepted into the VIP hosting program and (2) those very high traffic blogs that have been accepted into the AdControl program.
