Adding 'archive' to pages?
-
hi there,
i am using the theme Illustratr and have only just managed to create an ‘about’ page at the top of the page, and would like to add ‘archives’ or even ‘categories into that top navigation bar, but unfortunately those are options that seem to only be available in the widgets ‘sidebar’ which wierdly enough, resides at the bottom of the page.
my site is here, so feel free to take a look if you need to see what i mean.
any help at all would be very helpful, thank you!

Please consult your detailed theme description page at this link http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/illustratr/ and note that the theme is designed to “hide” widgets in a panel behind the + link. It’s working properly. Scroll down to “Widgets” on the theme description page to convince yourself of that.

haha thank you for that, Timethief, that’s helpful. but as a newbie when it comes to wordpress, i’m also wondering if there’s anything i can do to add ‘archives’ to the pages?
thanks for your patience, i realise newbies like me can be annoying!

Every time you publish any post that post is automatically displayed in the Archives by the software. You can display the Archives by using this widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/archives-widget/ Or you can create a static Page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ and use the archives shortcode http://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/
