To be brutally honest, you can if you want but I wouldn’t bother. Alexa hasn’t been relevant in a year. Quantcast is much better, and your blog is already on Quantcast right now, because WP.com uses it.
As for 2) you can’t do that on a WP.com blog, so the information you can get out of Alexa will always be limited. The info from Quantcast is richer, because staff have basically built that into our blogs already for Quantcast.
Weird: All my 6 ‘minor’ wordpress.com blogs attracting some 20-40 hits/day (true) are on Quantcast, while my main blog (i.e. username) that has some 400+ hits/day is not to be found. So much for Quantcast…
