Adding “Save This page”

I went to the site to put a button on my site. When I pasted it into a text widget the coding showed on the site instead of the icon. Does anyone know how to get the save button on the WordPress site?

post the code here between backticks (the key to the left of the #1 key on north american keyboards) so we can see it.

Actually it looks from link you provided that the code they list is for self-hosted blogs using the software downloaded from as it contains javascript, which is not allowed here at due to security concerns.

If you do a forum search for “social bookmarking links” you’ll find some threads that give not only instructions for posting that link, but also a whole bunch of other useful ones like Stumbleupon and Digg. It’s as easy to use all of them as just one.

There is no elegant automatic way to insert the social bookmarking icons that you see at the end of my posts and raincoaster’s. The code comes from sunburntkamel and can be found here

You can make your own single button and link like this one in the sidebar (scroll down to find it)
