Adding Facebook, Twitter, and other Share Icons to Posts

  1. I still can't find code to insert into each post for adding a simple Facebook or Twitter share link. I'm considering moving my blog elsewhere, as the only options available seem to be all-in-one social bookmarking links found at places like AddThis, etc. Am I essentially out of options?

  3. Thanks, guys, but I'm NOT on I'm hosted by There are no plug-in options. In addition, what I've been looking for are individual buttons for particular services (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Digg, etc.)—specifically code I can cut & paste into each blog post that would 1) display each social bookmark icon, and 2) provide a direct link to my blog readers' accounts, i.e. Tweet This or Share this on Facebook.

    I really appreciate your help. I will be unable to respond to any suggestions until later this evening, but I thank you in advance for any input...

  4. Getsoical has the buttons right on the posts but in my Opinion AddToAny [Link Above] is a better service because Get Social is for PC only > How To Use Get Social For (social bookmark bar) [Windows]

  5. My hits have gone up by 30% since I started using GetSocial. It's dead easy, it's specifically for, and it's shareware. What more do you want?

  6. Thanks, everyone. I've gone ahead and started using AddThis, which serves the main purpose. I'm a Mac user and can't install plugins (, so I guess this is cool for now. Thanks again...I truly appreciate your responses.
