Adding rich pin code to blog post
-
I’m quite happy with my theme and the terrific recipe shortcode.
I post my recipe posts on Pinterest after publishing and am curious about whether we might someday be able to add their “rich pin” code to posts to make the pins more interesting to Pinterest readers and to get more blog traffic from them.
They ask that the code go between “head” tags, but I don’t see that level of code in the text view of my posts. Am I missing something? Here are their instructions for adding their code. I know about and appreciate WordPress.com wariness about adding code, but wonder if this particular one might be possible someday.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We WordPress.COM hosted bloggers are unable to access metadata on WordPress.COM blogs and insert anything at all into the <header>. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ Our WordPress.com hosted blogs, unlike WordPress.ORG installs which are each free standing, share a common architecture. Hence, what you ask for can only be done on a WordPress.ORG install. Read the differences here please http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Added information:
The follow the Pinterest Site Verification instructions provided in the support docs which are all at http://support.wordpress.com

Okay, thanks. I figured it was something like that, but I still want to stay on the .com and appreciate the hosting. I’ll just have to get traffic the old fashioned way.
