Adding Tags

  1. Hi ~ I'm a novice at this blog thing, so bear with me. Why can I only add tags to the posts on my home page and not any of the new pages I created? I can't add tags to my "about" page either. What am I missing? Thanks for any help you can provide. ~ Lori

  2. Pages are for static content that rarely if ever changes. Pages sit outside the blog structure and not within it as Posts do. Posts can have Categories assigned to them and Pages cannot and there are other differences too. There is no way around this. If you choose to create a Page based structure rather than using the conventional post based blog structure there are consequences. Better Blogging at Pages and Posts

  3. Please link your username to your primary blog so every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

    It’s very easy to do. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary blog and then save changes.

  7. You can do it! We can help you with your questions. What's key is to eliminate any sense of urgency and proceed step by step.
