    Hi,

    Is the only way to add a user to my website is by making them signup with a wordpress.com account? I have a paid staff member that is ready to get to work but I don’t want to make her signup for wordpress.com just to post to my website. Is there a way to bypass this? Thanks.

    And my website is not self hosted.

    That’s correct, your staff member will need a WordPress.com account in order to contribute to the site:

    We don’t recommend multiple people sharing one WordPress.com account, it’s best if they have their own.

    The Post by Email feature may be a good alternative to creating an account. It involves generating a special email address that can be used to publish posts on your blog (this should only be given to people who need to contribute):
