Adding VigLink Plugin

    I recently signed up wit VigLink and am looking to install it on my WordPress site but I cannot add a new plugin. I looked up the instructions on how to install it and they are as follows;

    First, log-in… where you will be directed to the wordpress dashboard

    From your dashboard click on the plugin tab on the left side of the screen and select “add new”

    Under the search box type in VigLink and click “search plugins”

    The first one to appear should be named “VigLink” click Install Now which is located right next to the “details” link.

    WordPress will then ask if you’re sure you want to install this plugin, click “OK”.

    I cannot do this however because I cannot add a new plugin. Please let me know how I can work around this or how I can make it work.

    Kind regards,

    The blog I need help with is

    You are confusing hosted sites and software installs.

    There is no FTP access to blogs and no blogger installed plugin capability. Those exist only on wordpress.ORG software installs and no upgrade alters that reality. WordPress.COM hosted sites have some built in plugins.

    No FTP access
    No blogger installed plugins

    If you require plugins see: Moving to Self-Hosted WordPress

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here

    The wordpress.ORG login link is here If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account and if you have lost an account password click Lost password?
