Adele post signature?

    I have the CSS custom upgrade. Is there any CSS coding that I can add to automatically put a signature into the end of each post?

    The blog I need help with is

    I’m not sure that you can do this with just css. You could manually add an element and style it so it is automatically fancy. This doesn’t solve the whole automatically question though.

    If someone else knows I’d be happy to learn.

    Here is one idea. Make a div with an id “signature.” And you can either add a background image to the div or add some text and style it.

    So this would go at the end of each post.
    <div id="signature">Text here if you want</div>

    And in your css you would add the style. Here is an example.

    #signature {
    font-style: italic;
    font-size: 14px;
    color: #ccccff;

    For an image.

    In your post:
    <div id="signature"></div>
    and in your css

    #signature {
    background: url('PATH TO IMAGE') no-repeat;
    height: IMG HEIGHT;
    width: IMG WIDTH;

    Thanks! I’ve done that. It’s not showing up.

    I’m getting an error message? Lines three and four are not expected. It seems to want margin width on line three.

    And length and percentage on line four?

    You could do it with CSS only as well. Here’s an example using the WordPress logo for the image:

    .entry-content {
    	padding-bottom: 120px;
    	background: url( bottom left no-repeat;

    You would want to change the url() value to your own image and adjust the bottom-padding value to match your image.

    This example works on both pages and post in the Adelle theme. Note that using this example means the image fall below the likes and sharing buttons on single posts and pages. If you don’t want to do that, use mrdirby solution from above.

    Thanks so much!!! The second way worked! I need to do a little work on the signature itself but this is fabulous!

    Right on. :)
