Adelle theme Add color to body

    trying to a make customization to the adelle theme through css
    site Im working here:

    I would like to add a white background wrapper like this site and have a separate color background of the site:
    or (also using same theme).

    I know how to add the background to the site, but I dont know how to create the wrapper container body section (not sure what its called) to be white like the example site through css.

    Any suggestions would help. Thanks

    Your easiest path is to use a theme that already has a white container, such as Adelle (which I see you’ve now switched away from) or Twenty Twelve and then choose a custom background through Appearance —> Background.

    There are techniques for doing this with (almost) any theme, but it would require the Custom Design upgrade and would vary from theme to theme.
