    It seems I’m not able to use CSS that is conditional to IE in the Adelle theme, though I’ve used it in other themes. If at all possible, please add the following conditional HTML classes to the theme:

    <!--[if lt IE 7 ]> <html class="ie6"> <![endif]-->
    <!--[if IE 7 ]> <html class="ie7"> <![endif]-->
    <!--[if IE 8 ]> <html class="ie8"> <![endif]-->
    <!--[if IE 9 ]> <html class="ie9"> <![endif]-->
    <!--[if (gt IE 9)|!(IE)]><!--> <html> <!--<![endif]-->
