This question is for a blog that isn’t in my list of blogs on my dashboard. The blog in question located at <http://blog.homeexchange.com/>.
The owner wants to customize the 2011 theme. I need to widen the sidebar but cannot figure out how to do that. I realize its percentages and the theme is a responsive design theme. How can I get the sidebar to be about 300px wide at maximum width and play nice with the content container to the left of it?

Thanks.

Try this:

#primary { overflow: hidden; padding-right: 0px; width: 680px;}

#content {overflow: hidden; width: 640px;}

#secondary {margin: 0; padding-right: 40px; width: 260px;}

You can play with the values to fit your needs.

Thanks devblog!

I took your rules and tweaked a bit and it seems to work great. Thanks.
