Admin rights missing
Hi I was able to modify my pages, create new pages, delete pages from my blog
ltchevratorah but this friday when I went to add new pages, the whole pages section was missing.
I poked around and found out that somehow my Admin privileges were downgraded to contributer…. which I dont understand how (if I am the admin and only I have access to it).
Can someone please help me sort this out? you can reach me at (email redacted)
The blog I need help with is ltchevratorah.org.
Flagged for the staff to help – however they are a bit backed up at this time
Are you the only user on the blog? Is this account the owner of the blog?
Yes I am the owner of this blog. I had to renew my site as it had expired and I noticed someone selling beauty products. I renewed the site and renamed it from ltchevra.org (now a beauty site) to ltchevratorah.org ( the new site) and I was able to salvage my contents.
I was able to update the pages and add the new content two weeks ago, when I went to update this weekend the pages section in the dashboard was missing, poking around I found my rights had been taken away.
any luck with a solution. At this point I am at a loss to do any posting on a blog that I paid for.
This appears to be a duplicate thread. See https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/pages-menu-is-not-being-displayed-in-the-dashboard?replies=3#post-1684650
Staff work through all forum threads tagged for their attention and through all email support tickets in order of datestamps and timestamps – first posted first served, as would be expected.
Don’t bump your threads because it’s not in your best interest to post to them after they have been tagged for Staff help. When bloggers keep bumping any thread thinking they are going to get service from Staff more quickly they aren’t thinking straight because that moves the timestamps forward and it takes longer to get a response. The same is true if you email more than once the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help.
