    Dear WordPress,

I was so disappointed to find an ad on my blog today. Wow. I had no idea that you’d do that. I barely get any traffic. I see from reading that a lot of other people are disappointed as well.

You really need to make it CLEAR that it costs money to run an ad free blog on your site.
I will think about whether or not I want to pay to post my thoughts on the Internet.

I understand you need to make money, so why not have blogs of your own on WP with big names or whatever to attract traffic (you know how) and advertise on THOSE blogs?

I’m so SAD that you didn’t give me a choice about WHAT I want to advertise on my blog and which posts I want to put ads on—I mean, if you need the money that badly, why don’t you ASK your bloggers for some? Or ask where they want the ads.

I’m really bummed about this. I feel betrayed, really. Like, you broke my trust. You could have sent me a note, telling me that you were going to run such and such and ad on so and so date, etc. etc. etc.

Feel like a kid, like my mom came in my room and moved my personal stuff around. Seriously.

The blog I need help with is

You can buy the no ads upgrade for $ 30– a year – the ads thing is covered in the terms of service you agreed to –

The ads are supposed to be non-intrusive but there has been problems from time to time with content not being family friendly but those have been removed – you should only be seeing a single box ad or two on your site – if you have a bunch of links from words in your blog that is not WordPress.COM but a browser issue
