Advertisement in my blog

  1. How can I put authorized advertisement from companies in my blog?
    Blog url:

  2. You can't. There is only one advertising program called WordAds at and it’s for blogs on their own domains. This is the homepage for the WordAds program:

Aside from a blog being accepted into WordAds, no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by

If you do require an ecommerce site, advertising and/or affiliate links you can hire a web host and get a free software install from Refer to >

  3. Thank you very much for your message, very useful indeed!
Ok, then I am about now to purchase the domain in order to have ads on my site.
    3 questions:

1.- I would like to protect my privacy with an extra $8 a year and I see that in the bundle for $99 this is not included. Is there anyway I can include this in the bundle already?

2.- In the bundle it clearly says, "no ads" as a feature. Does this mean I will not be able to monetize advertisement?

3.-Can I choose which advertisement to monetize on my site or is this already set for me?

Thank you very much once again and I look forward hearing from you soon.

    Warm regards,

  4. Purchasing the domain will not allow you to create blogger-initiated ads. It just gives you a new domain name. That's IT.

    1) I'm sure you could work this out with staff if you wanted, but the Pro Upgrade isn't designed for people who want to put ads on their site: it's designed for people who DON'T. All you need for the Word Ads program is a custom domain name and approval, but they are several thousand blogs behind in the approval process, so it makes no sense to buy a domain name just to get in to WordAds. You'll have to wait months anyway.

    2) that's correct.

    3) No, it is chosen for you IF you get into the Word Ads program.

  5. There is no upgrade you can purchase from that changes anything stated here
    and restated again here >
and restated a third time here >
