    Dear Support,

I paid for the $299 plan and I’ve recently found out that we can’t host adsense ads on our site. Do we switch our platform over to If so, how much does that cost and what do we have to do? Do we contact GoDaddy to host the site and use wordpress? What are our next steps?

The blog I need help with is

    Hi there,

You’re right, you cannot host AdSense, that requires our VIP level service. However you can opt in for our WordAds option if you’d like, which puts our normal ads on our site, but does revenue sharing. For more information, you can go here:

    WordAds and Jetpack Ads

In regards to your question about moving to, if you’re interested, we offer an upgrade called Guided Transfer (available in the Store section of your blog’s Dashboard) where we take care of everything for you:

Otherwise, you’ll need to install WordPress from on a hosting provider. We have some recommendations on hosting providers at

Once that’s done, you can move your content following this guide: has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress at:

About that VIP level package that I mentioned, we do offer yearly and one-time premium support packages for WordPress sites through our VIP program, available at

With respect it sounds as if this blogger has spent $299. only to find out what he/she wanted to be able to do cannot be done. Perhaps suggesting they apply for a refund, rather than suggesting an additional payment for yet another upgrade for the guided transfer of non-existent valuable content in a virtually empty blog with only test posts is the way to go here.

@empiredigest provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can request a refund yourself directly from the Store section of your Dashboard
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

You will retain the domain you purchased. Afte your hire a web host and set up your install see here for updating the nameservers.

Absolutely, and thanks for pointing out that I had missed including that he can also just refund everything as well! I appreciate you looking out!

You’re welcome. It’s Saturday morning and I’m not surprised you missed that. I’m on my first and only cup of coffee for the day and I’m surprised I noticed it.

Thank you both! Sandy you were right on the “money”. I have cancelled and looking for another service that has a great quality template which will allow me to place adsense ads and other ads on the page.

    Let me know,

    Best wishes, Jared.
