Affiliate Links

I would like to put links on my site that would link people to where they could buy products but WordPress doesn’t allow that. I have seen other sites with domain names able to do links like the ones I want. So does that mean I have to buy a domain name in order to link to products or what? Thank you.

The blog I need help with is kimberlywalker4.wordpress.com.

You are wrong. My blogs are on domains but that changes nothing. They are still being free hosted by WordPress.com. Please read this relevant entry:

    Important Notes Before Upgrading
Same Rules Apply – The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable the permission to use advertising, any kind of prohibited code, or upload additional themes or plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and you will still be required to abide by our Terms of Service. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/#important-notes-before-upgrading

If you do require an ecommerce site, advertising and/or affiliate links you can hire a web host and get a free software install from http://wordpress.org Refer to > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

What BS, the first page I put up was affiliate marketing, and the rest was going to be free info. I guess with WordPress you better put the free stuff up first. Their response dictates whether I demand a refund.

So now I gotta go buy a separate web hosting deal. You know, you could have the TOS up to read before we give you our credit card info.

You’re supposed to read the TOS before you agree; don’t you read a contract before you sign it?
