All text complete deleted?
I wrote out a massive post and when I went to save it as a draft the page reloaded and it has saved with no text whatsoever. Is there any way of getting this back or did it just mess up? the only other draft I have of it must be an autosave as it is only the first line. I spent a lot of time on this and I’d prefer if I didn’t have to attempt to write it all again for no good reason?
The blog I need help with is neonlightning.wordpress.com.
It may be possible to locate and restore an autosaved post revision.
Please go to screen options and enable full accesibility mode. You want to be sure that the Posts and Pages modules are not hidden so your can access Post Revisons.
Posts – Post Tags, Categories, Excerpt, Send Trackbacks, Discussion, Comments, Post Slug, Post Author, Post Revisions
You can look the last autosave for Posts » Post Revisions
Then you can try to restore an earlier version > Recovering a lost blog post or page
All of the boxes are checked on the screen options and still the only two drafts are the new empty one and the early one with the first line.
It says on that last page that WordPress saves every two minutes? But how come there are no more drafts except for 3 hours previously?
I have the same problem, Saved my post as a draft and the revisions are all there, but the text is totally gone. All I have left showing are what appear to be the paragraph markers from the first revision.
