almost real-time information update

    Hi,

I’m looking for a way for a viewer of my page to see displayed almost real-time info without them having to continually refresh the page.

Ideally a small area of the sidebar would auto refresh every 15 seconds or so so that the viewer can follow these small updates without needing to refresh the page continually.

    I hope that makes sense?

    Regards,

    Nick.

The blog I need help with is pathfinderxxxi.com.

We don’t really have an option for that at this time, but it does sound like an interesting feature.

Would you please tell us what you would use it for?

OK, thanks for getting back to me. It would be as simple as allowing html META HTTP-EQUIV=”Refresh” to be used in a text-box widget or on a page. I have tried to do this but the code is removed :).

I personally would use it to display the latest information as to the location of a virtual space ship. But it could be used for a vast number of things.

    Regards,

    nick.
