I’m a complete beginner, using the Adelle theme, currently without customisation.

I was wondering if it is possible to fix the height of certain elements within the design?

I would like my header to be a half circle graphic flush with the top of the browser frame. When I uploaded the graphic this gave a border between the graphic and browser window and looked terrible.

To get around this I’ve incorporated the header into the background image, however the nature of the responsive design means that the content sits over the logo. As seen here: http://gymnesia.wordpress.com/

Is there anyway to work around this? I’d like to achieve the following: http://oi44.tinypic.com/2ivh2ya.jpg
