An actual support site for WordPress? Multi thousand topic "discussions" NO

Is there an actual support site for WordPress. I am totally bewildered, going in circles .

Would just like to find how to change Discussion Settings for a blog.

Just to say that it can be done does not tell me where to go and how to do it.

This “support” site looks like each page was developed by a different person with no coordination between them.

Should not have to have an “owners manual” to use an owners manual.

The blog I need help with is

This page > Settings > Discussion
Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
We can also override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any post or page.

P.S. This is a peer support forum. Here Volunteers answer the majority of support questions. When Staff intervention is required we flag threads for Staff attention.

On your dashboard you will find a video. On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the Learn blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff. The support documentation is a collection of living documents that are frequently updated and is found at the Support link which is also on the bottom of your Admin page. Note that the searchbox there provides results from both the documentation and from support forum threads. Here’s a link that may be helpful.
